CECILE DEMAILLY: Chair of the Board 2012-2016, Innovation Director 2010-2012

Cecile - Nov15 - BWsmall Cécile focuses on disruptive change within large companies, the sort of change that creates corporate transformation in the medium or long term, and that is being experienced by a few companies today (early adopters). She brings corporate knowledge, expertise on stimulating areas such as Enterprise 2.0, sustainable development, organizational neurosciences, or disruptive technology adoption, together with a research practice focused on the needs of the corporations she works with.

Prior to creating her consulting practice Early Strategies in 2008, she worked for 20 years in executive and management roles at IBM, AT&T and GE. She holds an MA in Business, Oxford/HEC’s MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change (CCC), and a degree in neurocognitive and behavioral psychology, focused on organizational practice. Cécile is a former board member of the European Professional Women’s Network federation, member of the Neurocognitive and Behavioral Approach Network, and a visiting lecturer and executive coach at HEC Paris.

ELIZABETH HOWARD: Honorary Secretary & Treasurer, 2009-2016 

elisabeth_howardElizabeth Howard is an Emeritus Fellow of Green Templeton College, Oxford, and a founder member of the Oxford Institute of Retail Management. She was co-director of the first Consulting and Coaching for Change programmes, and a member of the executive education faculty of Templeton College and Saïd Business School for many years. She designed and taught executive education programmes for a wide variety of companies, and also taught degree courses in environment and business. She established the business project scheme for the Oxford University MBA and is keenly interested in management learning through project work. Elizabeth has published many articles and monographs on retail change, including The Transformation of Retailing in Asia Pacific, Business and the Natural Environment (editor, with P Bansal), European Retailers’ Approaches to Asian Markets and a series of contributions to Retail Strategy: the View from the Bridge. Today she is Hon. Secretary of The Change Leaders.

JANE LEWIS: Programme Director, 2013-2014, Board member, 2014-2015

jane_lewisJane is Partner at Hidden Insights Europe Ltd, and an experienced change management practitioner and project manager who has worked extensively with the public and private sectors. She has built a successful change management practice over 22 years, working with central and local government, including the Ministry of Defence, the Home Office and HM Treasury. Private sector clients included BAe Systems, RSA, and Interserve plc. She gained her Master’s degree from the Oxford University/ HEC Paris in Coaching and Consulting for Change in 2005.

Jane Lewis introduced positive deviance to the UK, including organizational applications in Hertfordshire Adult Care Services and community applications in Gosport for teen pregnancy and parenting, and for the Home Office, for domestic abuse. Jane has lectured on positive deviance at Saïd Business School and HEC Paris, as well as at Oxford Brookes University and the National College of School Leadership. She has published articles in the Business Information Review, Oxford Leadership Journal, Quality World, NHS Executive and the Municipal Journal, and gained feature coverage in the Times and Guardian.

ROBERTO SACO: Programme Director, 2013-2015


Roberto Saco is a consultant and facilitator working with high potential individuals, middle management, and senior management in various industries. He is a recognized expert in the fields of service design, business process management, and change management, and conducts workshops in strategic planning, service quality, and product innovation. With more than 20 years in a corporate environment, Roberto worked in financial services in the Americas, mostly with American Express Company. Roberto has worked all over the world including the US, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Brazil, England, France, and China. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Miami, Georgetown University, and the Saïd Business School (University of Oxford). He is currently an Adjunct Professor in Management at Miami Dade College teaching a full spectrum of courses from Strategic Planning to Organizational Behavior, and serves on the faculty of the CIED program for international executives at Georgetown University.

Roberto also belongs to the Change Leaders global community of change management practice, and is a graduate of the Consulting and Coaching for Change post-graduate program at the University of Oxford and HEC (Paris). In addition, Roberto has served as a Lead and Senior Examiner for both the Florida Sterling and USA Baldrige Performance Excellence programs and he is a Past-President of the 80,000-member American Society for Quality. His articles have appeared in various publications, such as Touchpoint: the Journal of Service Design, the Design Management Review, Quality Progress, Quality World, Industrial Management, and the Journal for Participation and Quality.
