Why contact me:
With over 20 years business experience, 15 years of which in senior organisational roles as leader, coach and facilitator, Nicky brings a wealth of practical understanding and grounded practice to client assignments. Nicky works from the client's unique context to offer approaches which enable higher levels of performance and potential. Her work ranges from facilitating executive teams to determine and successfully execute appropriate change strategies, to coaching individual leaders through effective career transitions or leadership of change. It includes designing learning interventions to support the development of agile and adaptive leaders. Nicky operates from a belief that success in times of discontinuous change and high uncertainty requires individuals who "know to" maximize personal skills and strategic understanding by widening and deepening their choices in the present moment.

Her underlying commitment is that clients learn how to make effective change choices, build more muscle to handle increasing change complexity for the future and understand how "who they are" in the change influences successful outcomes
 
Projects:
  1. Created common ground for action through an organisational learning project. Worked with a senior leader and his team to build shared understanding of the issues surrounding a key strategic deliverable, in such a way that competing groups were able to come together to build a plan of action based on mutual understanding and common purpose
  2. Surfaced and built on the power of differences in operational values to strengthen a senior management team's effectiveness during a period of transformation, resulting in a better alignment of the business strategy and team operating environment and enhanced perceptions of team performance by their major stakeholder.
  3. Coached the director and members of the senior leader team of a leading not for profit institution to build the transformational leadership capabilities to sustain the organisation through a major culture change.
